  1. Lovely to find you here, Stuart. What a great idea to replace FB with a gardening blog. I'm very jealous of your success with Hellebores. Foetida and argutifolius both grow like weeds for me, but I don't like to think of the money spent on orientalis and niger, of which there is no sign, bar one determined wee struggling survivor. I'm being cheered on by carpets of snowdrops visible from my desk. It is the time of every tiny sign of life counting for so much, when the rush into Spring seems so far off and hard to believe in.
